| As the Ten Meter Band improves
with increased solar activity so does interest in ten meters and of
course Ten-Ten membership. Two years ago we installed a shopping cart
to make things easier for our members to renew and to allow for on line
new member applications. In the beginning we were allowed to do off
line processing, but as of 2011 we now have to use a processing
organization to handle the transaction. We contracted PayPal to handle this since they are the largest such organization. For some unknown reason since we started this method more and more members do not seem to be able to complete the transaction. This has become an item of concern for the Data Manager and the officials of Ten-Ten. All the transactions require the same steps. For renewals you complete the information form and upon completion you are guided to the shopping cart. For new memberships the Data Manager will email the applicant a link to the proper cart item after the membership application has been processed. We have reworked the forms, posted to the forum and, requested that members having issues let the officials know and someone would be happy to assist them. After two years there has only been one public post concerning this. PayPal says to expect a 40% failure rate I can't accept that, we are supposed to be Amateur Radio Operators and historically this group of individuals was considered the best of the best. Therefore the following pages will guide you through a membership renewal one step at a time. I will personally take the time to assist any member that is having issues with the cart.
